What is included in adoption and What are your Adoption Fees?

Our adoption fee includes: - Spay/Neuter (for puppies: between 4-6 months old) - First annual round of core vaccinations (DHPP & Bordetella) - Rabies Vaccine (for puppies: At time of Spay/Neuter between 4-6 months old) - Microchip - Flea/Tick and Dewormer (if needed) - Individual specific care (Surgeries, Dentals, Grooming, Training, etc) Please keep in mind that while the Adoption Fee does "INCLUDE" these, it does not come close to actually covering the expenses incurred with each dog during their stay and medical procedures. The adoption fee in addition to generous donations is how our rescue is able to cover costs needed to continue running this rescue. Our Adoption Fees are: Under 1 year old: $350 1-6 years old: $250  7+ years old: $150 We also have a SENIOR-FUR-SENIOR PROGRAM: Adoption Fees are waived for Seniors (65yo+) adopting a Senior dog (7yo+). Adoption Fees may vary depending on the pets length of stay. Adoptions Fees are subject to change at any time.

Where is Hope Ranch located?

Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary is based in Anza, CA on 5 acres of property. We have many compassionate foster families throughout Temecula, CA to Menifee, CA and everywhere in between.

How can I meet ALL of your available dogs/puppies?

Every dog and puppy is located in a different household, most litters are fostered and separated in groups of 2-3 throughout the Inland Empire. Unfortunately it would be impossible to arrange to meet all the dogs as we are a foster-based rescue with varying life and work schedules.

What is your adoption process?

Our adoption process begins with the application. Once you've found a dog that you think could be a great match to join your family and have sent in your application, we will review it and reach out to you to further discuss. If we feel the dog you're interested in might not be a great fit, we may reccomend you to another dog. Please note that we reserve the right to deny any application. But if we're both feeling confident that the dog is a good match, we will proceed with setting up a meet and greet. Upon meet and greet and if all is going well, the dog can go home with you same day. We also have foster-to-adopt options if you're wanting to try it out before fully committing for 2 weeks (Usually by or before 2 weeks, you've got a general idea or not if this pup is going to be a fit in your household).

Do you adopt out of state?

While most of our adoptions are within California and typically within a few hours of the Temecula area, yes we do allow out-of-state adoptions from time to time. It entirely depends on the dog and the situation. We do not, however, allow shipment of dogs and puppies nor do we allow third-party transportation. You must have an approved application and your household must come to us to meet the dog you are potentially adopting. If all is going well with the meet and greet, you must provide on-ground transportation to your home with your new member of the family.

Do you accept owner surrenders?

To answer simply, yes we do. However, each dog must be assessed and met by one of our team PRIOR to being accepted into the rescue. We may offer to do a "Courtesy Posting" for you on our social media pages instead if we do not have space or foster available.

Do you have adoption events?

Yes! We are currently going to Kahoots in Temecula located at 31789 Temecula Pkwy #3, Temecula, CA 92592 once per month. Don't be shy, come say Hi! Please note, formal adoption application and process is still REQUIRED at Kahoots. We reccomend filling out an application prior to meeting the dogs at Kahoots so you can be pre-approved to adopt. Contact Kahoots TODAY to learn when our next event is! (951) 303-3381

I would love to volunteer. How can I help?

Thank you for wanted to be involved in the rescue community. Unfortunately we do not have many volunteer opportunities available but we do have some ways you can help! Help at Adoption Events: Contact us about when our next adoption event will be! Animal Transportation: Sometimes when we rescue a dog from the shelter, we often need a ride for the pup to get to his/her foster parent or vet. Contact us for more info! Fostering: Fostering may not be for everyone who wants to volunteer but it is one of the most needed. We supply fosters with EVERTHING needed, all you need to provide is a safe place to land and lots of love while we vet and continue to search for a forever family.
